I took a trip back to PA last month. The idea was to visit with family and friends and also work on some new pieces. It didn't quite work out that way but I still had a wonderful time. I got to stay with my best friend and her family and also witnessed my mom throw clay. Even though I fell ill for a few days I still went to the Carnegie Museum in Pittsburgh. I was especially intrigued by Janet Cardiff and George Bures Miller: Opera for a Small Room. A room inside a crate inside a huge dark room with old records and things. The sounds were quite eerie while sitting in one of the only 4 chairs in the room but there was something beautiful about the experience.
